Innocents Lost

 A child pure and innocent,

With life so bright and true,
But fate dealt a cruel hand,
where the hues were turned dark blue.

Beneath the starless sky,
He fell in with the wrong crowd,
And with each step, his soul died,
Till there was nothing but a shroud.

Innocence lost forever,
As he embraced the night,
And sealed his fate for eternity,
In a world devoid of light.

Chained to his fate,
He wanders the abyss,
Forever searching for the gate,
But only finding emptiness.

Burdened by regrets and shame,
He wanders all alone,
His soul forever stained,
In a never-ending moan.
